The Master Unit 200 and connecting Door Unit support all standard access control readers using an RS485 and Wiegand data connection.

Supporting a modular design with RS485 communication between modules, the Master Unit 200 provides a scalable solution by simply adding additional Door Units. Up to four Door Units connect to a Master Unit 200 module with each supporting two reader connections for a total of eight readers (four biometric readers).

Networked together with a 10/100 Mbps Ethernet connection, multiple Master Units communicate in a cluster configuration providing for expansion and administration across several Master Units.
